Casey at the Bat again?

No it is only Sarah. She is playing coach pitch softball. This is a great way to introduce the kids to softball and all the rules.

Coach's Daughter

This is my friend Karen's youngest daughter Natalie. She is one of the sweetest babies I have ever known.

Did she slide?

Sarah did not need to slide. Way to run Sarah.

Future Catcher?

Doesn't she look very good. Like she has been doing it for years. Too bad Sarah does not like playing catcher. It is too hot for her.

The Lady Thunder

Sarah's softball team

60s child revisited

Ashleigh got this outfit on one of our shopping sprees. Doesn't she look cute.

No child labor laws in VA

Sarah had fun washig my Jeep. And no she did not get paid.

Mi Vida Loca

For all of y'all who do not speak spanish that means my crazy life. I am a sucker for all of you that did not already know that. Many of you know that I work with the rec league in our area. Well I do the cheerleading coordinating. (Remember both girls are playing softball this year) Well we did not have enough coaches for the fall season so I am doing coaching yet again even though I have no children cheerleading. How do I get myself into these situations? Oh yeah I haven't learned to say no. The reason for the two kids-lol Somewhere in the mix of softball and cheerleading practices and games I also have to plan two birthday parties for the girls. I can't wait for the season to be over with and it just started. Oh well I love it.

Aunt Stacey & Pete

I could not post this picture until my nephew Peter received his pottery back. Sarah was at a birthday party so Peter and I painted also. However he did not tell his father about it. He wanted to surprise him. So he now has his giraffee and I can post this picture. Thanks for painting with me Pete.

Diet Coke Commercial

This was a one of the player's dog. He got the top off the top to the bottle and drank the soda. Do you think Coke would like this picture?

Casey at the bat?

No it is only Ashleigh. Doesn't that stance look good.

Ashleigh warming up

Ashleigh missed the throw while warming up. I hope this is not an omen of her year to come.

Well we made it

We made it through the first week of school with no problems. The girls are both playing softball and Ashleigh started her games this Saturday. Sarah will start her's next weeekend. That is when the chaos begins. I can only hope that their schedules work together. Cheerleading starts the first week in October and I am the coordinator for that for our rec league so that will also keep me busy. Sarah's birthday is coming up and she has decided to do a skating party. I was so thankful that she did not want it at the house like usual.

Sarah the budding photographer

Sarah took this picture. She had a little problem finding us in the dark.

Unhappy Ashleigh

She was tired and did not want me taking her picture

See they can stand near each other

This is probably the closest the girls got to each other all night

Full view

Here is what the screen looks like from a distance

Leann Rimes

They had a screen and this picture came from that screen. Pretty good picture

Opening Act for Leann

Keith Anderson was the opening act for Leann Rimes. I had never heard of him but he was pretty good

See Paul does like the sand

Paul enjoyed himself also, even if sand was involved

Beautiful Sight

I think that is one of the most beautiful sights in the world

That wasn't suppose to happen

Ashleigh wanted to get her feet wet and wasn't prepared for a big wave

Daddy and the girls

Three of my favorite people at the Leann Rimes concert

End of Summer Dos

The girls had to get a professional clarifing treatment to their hair because of all the chlorine from summertime swimming

Another week closer to the school year

Well this is the official laast weekend of summer. We have had a busy week. The girls spent the week at two different friends house while I was at work. I had two PTA open houses to deal with. Both Open houses went smoothly. Thank you Myrna, Mark and Tonya for helping me keep my sanity about everything that went on. Ashleigh had "Mock Day" on Wednesday afternoon so her and I went to that. She enjoyed seeing all the different things in middle school. On Friday Paul and I went to the Hootie and the Blowfish concert down at the oceanfront. There is the American Music Festival going on with a tremendous amount of concerts going on. Saturday we took the girls to see Leann Rimes. Tonight we are all going to see Vertical Horizons and Journey. I think we will have a great time. Tomorrow we are probably staying home and cleaning cause I think we will have some busy weekends with softball games starting here in the next couple of weeks. I will try my hardest to keep everyone up to date as our going ons
