Sad News

We lost our dear friend Buddy this morning. He had been sick the night before and continued to get worse as the night progressed. Paul was with him when he pasted. We will miss you Buddy!!

Pulling a Rachel

Ashleigh was bored one day so she decided to find out why Rachel enjoys doing this so much. I don't know if she got unbored by doing this.

Is that Tinkerbell

Ashleigh drew this for one of her friend's birthday. Her friend loves tinkerbell so we purchased several things with Tink on them and Ashleigh drew this free hand looking at those items. I think it is pretty good. What do you think?

Sarah's new do

As many of you know Sarah and I have been battling with her hair since she was old enough to talk. This past summer I told her if she did not take care of it it would be gone. So I gave her a couple of months and she continued not to take care of it. So we got it cut. Sarah loves it. We can curl it under, leave it as it is, or flip it up. It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier. This is not the best picture of the do, so as I take more I will post them.

Adding to the cow collection

This is a present from Shane,Ashleigh's best male friend who is currently in Spain. Unforunately it arrived in pieces. We orginially did not know the picture went with the cow. Luckily we figured it out and Paul glued it all together and it looks brand new.

Pottery after it has been fired

Here are all the works from the other weekend after they were fired. Ashleigh and I both were picking our apart. We keep looking at it and saying oh man I wish I had painted more here. Oh well lessons learned.

Isn't he cute. I am not sure where I am going to put him yet or if I will give him as a gift to someone. I haven't decided.

It has been sometime

I am so sorry to those of you that I have not kept current. Not much has been going on in the lives of the Orlowski Family. We just have been busy with gymnastics, swimming, girl scouts and anything else that may come our way. The girls both got their report cards on Monday. They both did wonderfully. Sarah got outstanding Dolphin which means she got O's in behavior and citizenship this nine weeks. She also got 3+ in all her subjects. Which 3 is meets grade level expectations. Ashleigh got 2 B's and the rest A's. She was upset because she dropped to a B in one class. However I was okay with that because it was the class in which she has already had 4 teachers for the year. That's right 4 teachers. There has been problem after problem with keeping teachers in that class. I will post some pictures of the ceramics Ashleigh and I painted last weekend. I think Ashleigh may have a talent for things like this. Tell me what you think.
